In Part 1 of this Article Series, you identified your ideal client and learned how to create a real energetic connection with them. You’ve also learned that when you recall the joy you’ve felt by serving your ideal client, this connects you to the power of your heart and to your Divine Guidance. This is the most honoring space from which you can write authentic marketing copy.
In today’s article, we are going to take this a step further.
Picture this ideal client in your mind’s eye. Take yourself back to the time when that client first came to you to help them solve their problem, challenge or issue. Think back, listen in, imagine and recall what they said to you. What was the challenge or problem that person came to you with – in their words?
The second essential to creating real connection with your ideal clients through your online copy is to use their words to describe your ideal clients’ pain or problem you help them solve through your business.
Your ideal client typically represents other prospective ideal clients. When you use the words of your ideal client it will also resonate with other ideal clients. By using their words your ideal clients will feel witnessed, heard and understood, thereby creating a real connection to them through your online copy. An added benefit is that you don’t have to dream up the words to say, so it makes writing your marketing and website copy very authentic and so much easier.
Don’t be afraid to be specific. This is where business owners get tangled up. Being really specific is what takes this connection to a deeper level and has your prospective clients saying ‘wow, she really gets me!’
And you do, because you have been listening. You really care and want to truly serve your clients the best way possible. That comes through in your authentic online copy.
