Sara is an entrepreneur who is like the energizer bunny. She works long hours, is continually taking steps to grow her business and has a hard time stepping away from her business. It has become all consuming. Even her partner complains that all she talks about is her work. She is afraid if she stops she won’t be really successful, make the money she wants or, worse yet, she’ll quit. She is tired, yet wired to keep going. She is stuck in the do-do mode.
Lana is a healer who is creative, inspired and often scattered. She is not sure what to focus on in her business. She feels uncomfortable with much of the business aspect and taking the steps to grow her business. She is afraid of what others may think and that they may not approve of her making good money with her spiritual gifts. She is not sure how she feels about this herself. She is stuck in inaction.
In both of these business woman’s situations, they feel stuck, even though it manifests differently.
When we feel stuck, we are focused on the problem, not the solution. When we focus on the problem, we see limitations, challenges and obstacles. When we shift our attention to a possible solution, we instantly open up the energy to receive new possibilities, ideas, inspirations and Higher Guidance to move ourselves forward.
If you find yourself resonating with Sara in the story above, you may be busy in the doing. Here’s one question you can begin to ask to shift your energy and focus to the solution: “What’s one thing I can do to receive the Divine Support that is available so I am not trying to do everything myself?” Then, throughout the day, ask, “What can I let go of?” Take action on what you receive.
One thing you can do is shift the pattern by taking a different action that will create a space in your schedule to bring more balance to the doing. One example is to change up your routine, move your laptop to a park to work today, take a walking break in nature, get up earlier to listen to a meditation CD before you begin work or drive to an appointment a different way or without the radio on.
If you find yourself resonating with Lana in the story above, you may be busy in the being. To help you bring your gifts out into the world, you will also need to take inspired action to bring more balance to the inaction. Here’s one question you can begin to ask to shift your energy and focus to the solution:
“What’s one thing I can do to grow my business and make money so I can be of even greater service to others? Then, throughout the day, ask “What can I do?” Then take action on what you receive.
